AC Milan vs Juventus
6.7 || webmaster

You would think that you would chose the defending Champions for a comparison, but since I think that Juventus is a better team than AS Roma i chose them. A look at the new faces at both teams. Juventus has two big signings this season, Buffon and Thuram, and Milan also two: Rui Costa and Inzaghi. Juventus really needs a strong goalkeeper after Van Der Saar flop season. And Buffon seems to be the ideal replacment. Thuram will surley strenghten the defence, but is that enough? With Davids suspended for the Nandrolon use and Zidane on his way out to Real Madrid.

Milan has made an excellent signing in Rui Costa. His creative skills will probably prove an important piece in Milan's game next year. Inzaghi and Shevchenko will become a feared couple up front, and with Javi Moreno to back them up the goalstack will become larger than the 2000/01 season. But without Leonardo and (probably) Boban, two very important players have disapeared.

MILAN JUVENTUS
Goalkeepers *** ****
Defence *** ****
Midfield **** ***
Attack **** ****

I belive that Milan will and up third or fourth in the league whilst Juventus will be fighting for the top spots. But Milan have some VERY good youngsters coming so in the next two years it will be an intressting time for us Milan fans!
