Giacomo Raspadori came off the bench and transformed the game, as Sassuolo overturned Milan for a 2-1 win at San Siro with his brace.
The Rossoneri had closed Inter’s lead to nine points, but the race for a top four finish remained wide open. Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned from suspension, but then picked up an injury, unable to start along with Theo Hernandez and Ismael Bennacer, although Davide Calabria did make his comeback after several weeks out. Domenico Berardi was fit to start after his transformative substitute appearance against Fiorentina, but Francesco Caputo was still out of action.
