Serie A: Crotone 0:2 AC Milan - match report 30.9 || webmaster
Scorers: Kessie pen 45+2 (M), Brahim Diaz 50 (M)
Milan continued their perfect start to the season, breaking down defensive Crotone with Franck Kessie and Brahim Diaz, but Ante Rebic suffered a nasty injury.
The Rossoneri were unbeaten in 13 Serie A fixtures, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic was ruled out after testing positive for COVID-19, so Rebic moved to centre-forward with Brahim Diaz and Sandro Tonali making their first Milan starts. Alessio Romagnoli, Mateo Musacchio, Andrea Conti and Leo Duarte also missed out, so there could be no rotation in defence after Thursday’s 3-2 Europa League win over Bodo/Glimt. Crotone were crushed 4-1 by Genoa last week, but goal-scorer Emmanuel Riviere was ruled out here with Ahmad Benali, Giuseppe Cuomo and Guillame Gigliotti.
