De Sciglio back In AC Milan training
25.2 || webmaster

AC Milan fans will be pleased to know that De Sciglio is back training with the first team and is expected back playing soon. It is even possible that the defender will take part in the upcoming match against Sassuolo. His return will greatly improve the team and should improve their chances of finishing strongly.

The Italian international full back has been out for nearly a month and has been missed. The player suffered the serious injury on the 29th of January. It was in a game that AC Milan lost against Udinese. The ankle ligament was damaged when he was challenged by Rodrigo De Paul.

The defender is coming back a lot earlier than expected as it was thought he would be missing for around eight weeks. It is expected that he will be in the squad for Sundays match against Sassuolo. It may be a bit too early for him to start the game but it is a risk the head coach may well think is worth taking.

De Sciglio took part in first team training on Wednesday and was able to complete the full session without suffering any setbacks. After the win against Fiorentina which they won 2 - 1 Vincenzo Montella the head coach has given the players a two day break as a reward.

So far this season the defender has played 19 times.

One player that could be heading to AC Milan is Moussa Sissoko. Things have not worked out well for the midfielder since moving to White Hart Lane from Newcastle. The player was signed for a club record 30 million last summer and big things were expected. He has struggled to fit in and has even found first team chances hard to come by. At 27 years old the French international needs to be playing every week. He has started only six games for Spurs in the EPL and ten in total when you include his substitute appearances. A move in the summer looks likely and it is believed that he is keen on moving to AC Milan. It will All depend on the price that Tottenham are willing to sell him for as they won't want to lose too much.

It is going to be another record breaking summer for transfer fees with all the top clubs looking to make acquisitions. With the whole influx of Chinese money pouring in it is going to get out of control. It may even be worthwhile looking for what bookies are offering odds on the first 100 million pounds transfer happening in 2017. One thing is for sure is that it has better chances of coming in compared with AC Milan chances of winning the title this campaign.

It has not been a great season so far with the team sitting on 44 points in seventh. They are going to have to make new acquisitions to improve and Sissoko may well be one of those. It is going to be a vital last few matches as they attempt to snatch one of the champions league qualification places. Having De Sciglio back will certainly help them to try and achieve it.
