Inzaghi rejects Cerci trouble rumours
28.2 || webmaster

Pippo Inzaghi came out recently and rejected rumours that there's a rift between him and offensive winger Alessio Cerci. He also continued by saying that Milan is ready to give a helping hand in saving his former club Parma.

Rumours have been running for a while that Cerci had a sever outburst caused by playing just the last four minutes against Cesena last weekend. Inzaghi however denies that there are any boiling issues between him and Cerci.

In the press conference prior to this weekend's Chievo game, on which you can bet using a 2015 promo code for Ladbrokes, Inzaghi is reported as stating the following:

"Things have been reported that aren't true."

"Whatever we needed to solve we have solved in the dressing room."

"If what was reported really happened, Cerci would not have been called up."

"He was dissapointed after the Cesena game for playing just a couple of muinutes. I told him that Montolivo asked for a sub and Poli was fatigued. I was unable to substitute sooner. He asked for a reason and I gave him one. He accepted it. I asked for him at Milan so there's no issue."

"He did play quite a lot since he arrived. Him and Menez can play quite well together. Unfortunately we don't have the stamina to afford both of them on the pitch."

"It's tough to select between Menez and Cerci. The one remaining on the bench must prove he should be starting the next game."

It's worth saying that with Menez's prowess this season, it'll be quite hard for Cerci to break into the starting line-up, considering Pippo thinks the both of them on the pitch is too much for the team.

Pippo also had a few words to say of his former club Parma, which is nearing bankruptcy and whose players said they will forfeit the Genoa game on Sunday.

"The state of affairs at Parma is bad news. Both I and Milan are ready to help out. Tomorrow there'll be a 15 delay before kick-off."

"Everyone wants Parma to get through this situation. We are all ready to save such a great club as well as the folks there."
