Ronaldinho has joined the fans in urging President Silvio Berlusconi to reinforce the squad. “We want to win and play in a great team.”
The supporters have been critical of the club’s transfer policy, especially as this summer Berlusconi already hinted that more players will be brought up from the youth sector.
“I don’t even know if I will stay on at Milan. I can say that these two years at San Siro have been very happy ones,” the Brazilian told Radio Montecarlo.
“The fans don’t have the patience to wait for youngsters to grow and would like more champions? Well, we don’t have the patience either.
“We want to win and play in a great team. This is the truth.”
Ronaldinho confessed that seeing rivals Inter in the Champions League Final, where they can complete the Treble, only adds to that impatience.
“I am happy for our Nerazzurri cousins, but at the same time also said, because Milan cannot reach certain targets. Our hope is to start doing it again from next season.”
Meanwhile, Milan have announced the squad travelling to America and Canada for a tour in May and early June.
These include ‘borrowed’ players Cristian Brocchi, Davide Di Gennaro, Marcus Diniz Paixao, Roberto Colombo, Gennaro Delvecchio, Claudio Terzi and Manuele Blasi.
The Rossoneri will face Washington DC United on May 26, Chicago Fire on May 30 and Montreal Impact on June 2.
