Sergio Ramos linked with AC Milan 31.3 || webmaster

Spanish newspaper AS believes Milan are hoping to sign Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos this summer.
The 23-year-old Spain international is apparently seen as the long-term successor to Paolo Maldini, who retired last season.
Ramos is under contract at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2013, but negotiations have already started for an extension.
The former Sevilla youngster is said to be demanding €6m a year, prompting even Real to balk.
AS understands that Milan are putting feelers out in Spain and might make use of the good relationship they have with Madrid from the Kaka deal last summer, although the latter's injury problems might have caused things to change.
Meanwhile, the Italian media believes such a deal is distinctly unlikely as Milan are in the process of a cost cutting exercise and have already signed a pre-contract with the much more modest but nevertheless effective Mario Yepes from Chievo ahead of next season.
