Milan look set to face competition from Chelsea and former boss Carlo Ancelotti for Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko
The Bosnia international is Milan's No 1 transfer target this summer and the Rossoneri are believed to have already secured an option on his signature.
Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani did everything to sign Dzeko last summer, but Wolfsburg, who had just been crowned German champions, didn't feel the need to sell.
Dzeko has declared his intention to move to Milan on several occasions over the last six months and a bid worth €22m plus Kakhaber Kaladze and Marek Jankulovski is being prepared to make his dream come true.
However, according to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea have also joined the race to sign the 23-year-old after attempts to buy Sergio Aguero from Atletico Madrid failed.
Dzeko has earned a reputation for being the best young target man in Europe. He scored 30 goals in 40 appearances for Wolfsburg last season and already has 11 to his name this year, including four in the Champions League.
