Mario Balotelli was suspended against his former club, but Daniele Dessena had his first start since fracturing his leg on October 21. The Rossoneri made the trip without Lucas Paqueta who asked not to be included Lucas Biglia, Davide Calabria and Leo Duarte, but Hakan Calhanoglu returned on the wing.
