Jeremy Menez and Mattia De Sciglio were suspended, missing Alessio Cerci, Riccardo Montolivo and Michael Essien. Douglas Maicon, Leandro Castan and Kevin Strootman didn’t make the trip, but Francesco Totti was dropped again.
