Players’ Association chief Damiano Tommasi gave Mario Balotelli and Milan advice on how to fight the media obsession.
The striker was back in the news today with rumours of an offer from Liverpool, something that Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani denied.
“Too many people take advantage and like talking about Balotelli the personality rather than Balotelli the person,” AIC President Tommasi told Sky Sport Italia.
“His teammates and staff can do a great deal, but he has to put the effort in and contribute too.”
Tommasi also commented on the choice of Antonio Conte as new Italy Coach.
“The CV and name count to a certain degree, but ultimately results are what really matter.”
