AC Milan to launch bid for Diarra? 27.7 || webmaster
Source: Football Italia
Real Madrid’s Mahamadou Diarra is in Milan’s sights as they search for a quality player to anchor their midfield, according to Il Corriere dello Sport. Max Allegri is ready to change tactics following Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Serie B side Varese. He had hoped to play either a 4-3-1-2 or a 4-3-3, but Il Corriere understands that Allegri is now in favour of a more conservative 4-2-3-1 with two sentinels screening the defence. Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani apparently believes Diarra could be a decent option as Real Madrid are keen to offload the 28-year-old Mali international. Diarra has lost his place at the Santiago Bernabeu, partly because of a checkered injury history. If Milan fail in their approach for him, they will make inquiries at Napoli about signing Manuele Blasi.
