Honda's agent denies AC Milan link

Japanese World Cup star Keisuke Honda is not negotiating with Milan, the player's agent has confirmed.

Press speculation has intimated that the CSKA Moscow star has as good as tied up a deal with the San Siro giants, but the man in the know - agent Kees Ploegsma - has talked down the rumours.

"I know nothing about this", Ploegsma explained. "No one contacted me. A few clubs have asked for information but these have been only informal talks and at the end nothing became concrete.

"Honda signed in January with CSKA Moscow and he has a deal until December 2013. We don't know if the Russian side are ready to sell him. Obviously it's an honour being linked to prestigious sides, but it is not a surprise because Keisuke did good things in the World Cup and with CSKA too."
