AC Milan dismiss Ronaldinho departure 20.7 || webmaster
Source: Football Italia
Milan won’t sell Ronaldinho or Klaas-Jan Huntelaar this summer, while there are no negotiations to get rid of Gennaro Gattuso.
Those were the claims of Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani today as the Rossoneri started their pre-season preparations.
“We have received no offers or requests for Ronaldinho,” Galliani stated. “You can also add to that the fact that he, nor his agent, has asked to leave.”
Flamengo have been hotly linked with the Brazilian in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Galliani also seemed to rubbish speculation that Huntelaar would be sold despite his problematic first season at San Siro.
“Huntelaar has the desire to remain,” the official added.
Turning to Gattuso, Galliani noted: “No negotiation for his sale currently exists.”
There is growing speculation that the former Italian international is on the verge of leaving the Giuseppe Meazza.
He’s been linked with Al Alhi, Olympiacos and Wolfsburg over the last 10 days or so and owner Silvio Berlusconi wouldn’t block his exit.
“I’d be happy if he stayed,” Berlusconi stated. “But Milan will not stand in the way of a player who is determined to leave – just look at the Shevchenko example.
“It would be the same thing with Gattuso – nobody will be forced to stay against their own wishes.”
