Thiago Silva snubs Real Madrid approach 20.7 || webmaster

Thiago Silva has thanked Real Madrid for their interest in him but underlined that he’s committed to Milan.
The Spanish giants are understood to have made the Rossoneri a €20m offer for their talented Brazilian centre-back.
That bid was subsequently turned down by the Italian giants and the player himself has now also snubbed a switch to the Bernabeu.
“I don’t have any intention of leaving Milan right now,” said the South American. “I’m very happy, I’ve adapted well to life in Italy and I hope to have an excellent season.”
Although the international has pledged his immediate future to his current club, he admits that he was pleased to have been courted by Real.
“It is an honour to know that one of the best clubs in the world are interested in me,” he continued.
“As is the fact that Jose Mourinho, one of the best Coaches in the world, also likes me.”
Real are understood to have turned their transfer attention to a centre-back after refusing to meet Inter’s €35m asking price for Douglas Maicon.
Mourinho originally wanted to move Sergio Ramos from the right into the middle in order to accommodate the Brazilian.
However, the plan is now to keep the Spanish World Cup player as a full-back and sign a new stopper instead.
