Source: Football Italia
Clarence Seedorf scored the only goal of an entertaining game, which also brought an end to Milan's Tour of the United States.
Mauro Tassotti lined up Milan in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Alexandre Pato starting up front after Pippo Inzaghi suffered a fever.
The Rossoneri created little in the first half and saw their own goal peppered with shots several shots, which kept Dida busy.
However, Tassotti's decision to change Milan's system to a 4-2-1-3 with Davide Di Gennaro in the middle and Pato on the right yielded more results.
Seedorf put Milan ahead in the 47th minute when he broke down the left-hand side, went around Andrew Dykstra in the Chicago goal and slotted home from a tight angle.
The match was remarkable for two pitch invaders, one of whom managed to embrace Ronaldinho before being escorted off the pitch.
Milan will now fly to Canada for their final friendly match before returning home to Italy.
